Stepping Stone Kit

We recently tried the Pinwheel Crafts Stepping Stone Kit with my two 9-year-olds, both neurodivergent, and it was an unexpectedly wonderful experience for all of us!
From the moment we opened the box, the kit struck a great balance between creativity, sensory engagement, and simple steps that still feel rewarding. The instructions were clear and broken down in a way that kept both kids confident and excited, something that doesn’t always happen with craft kits!

This wasn’t a craft they raced through, it became something they talked about, planned together, and proudly showed off. It felt like teamwork, and even after it was finished, they kept returning to it to admire details or add touches.
📌 Outcome Was Worth the Wait
Once set, the stones looked great and felt sturdy. They’re now proudly displayed in the backyard, a real reminder of a project they poured themselves into.

The kit is beautiful and comes with all you need even paint and a tablecloth to be able to clean up easily. My son had a lot of fun doing this and I will say that the quality is amazing and it’s going to look great in our garden four years to come.

We were gifted these stepping stone kits from Pinwheel Crafts, and honestly… we had SO much fun with them. The moment we opened the box, the kids were already excited. Each kit comes with everything you need, and the quality is seriously amazing — nothing felt cheap or rushed.

I love that everyone got to create their own stepping stone and show their personality through it. What started as a simple craft turned into such a special bonding moment for our whole family. Lots of laughs, a little mess 😅, and memories I know we’ll always look back on.

Definitely one of those activities I’d recommend if you want something fun and meaningful to do together at home.

Pinwheel crafts sent us the stepping stone kit to try & honestly…WE LOVED IT! I remember making stepping stones as a kid and this was so nostalgic! The kit comes with all the things you need! The designs are preprinted into the stone and each one comes with its own set of paints and paintbrushes! This is the perfect activity when you’re stuck inside or you have a group of kids you need to entertain! I can’t wait to put these in our garden!
