Mermaid Jewelry Box Kit

It can be EXTREMELY challenging to find things that both my teenager and toddler will both genuinely enjoy doing together (without the teen just doing it because the toddler wants to) but this fit the bill! They did it together and both had a blast. It was both basic enough and intricate enough that they could work on it together and each have fun creating. It’s now their coveted “treasure box” and has become a vital part of many games. It came with SO much more stuff than I was expecting!

This crafting kit is an absolute gem! It’s packed with everything you need to create a truly unique wooden jewelry box. My daughter, who’s turning 5 soon, had an absolute blast with it! She dived right into painting and decorating the box without any issues. I only needed to lend a hand with the glue, but other than that, she was a crafting superstar! It was such a fun experience for both of us!

My daughter absolutely loved customizing her own box! It came with so many extra shells and more than enough glue, paint, glitter, etc! It also came with two cute rings!

Me and my daughter loved making this jewelry box ! It came with a bunch of shells , pearls and lots of glitter, which she absolutely loved! Great for making memories with your little one! Highly recommend!

My kids had so much fun creating the mermaid box and it came out so cute! As a mom I was impressed that the box came with everything needed!

She had a ton of fun with this, but we ended up using our own paint because the ones provided are very sheer and you can see the wood through it. Even multiple coats wouldn't have worked. But otherwise it was fun and she loved it!

I would say this is more for 10-12 yrs old because of all the stuff it includes most of it being really small. The paint that comes with it is very thin and doesn't coat well. The quality is on the lower end and box is pretty small for so much decoration.

The bag of shells are huge and more than you'll need. Especially with glitter, a starfish, beads and other adornments. I wish it had something mermaid with it, but still a fun craft/ project!

Bought this for my daughter since she loves mermaids, we had to use different paints as the ones that came with it were very very sheer so it would have required a lot of coats, I also bought air dry molding clay to lay under the shells so I didn’t have to use as much glue and it gave it a sandy vibe.. a lot of my shells came broke which was kinda upsetting but I made due with what we had for whole shells wish it came with a pair of tweezers or gem gripper to lay the gems & pearls. We had fun doing this but I think they could upgrade this kit for the price I could have gone to the dollar store to get all the same supplies for half the price. But it is a fun gift for someone who likes crafting.

The kit included a LOT - a ton of shells, decorations, glitter, the works. There were more shells than we knew what to do with so we can use them for other crafts.The biggest complaint I have is that the paints are bad. They barely make any color and just look like they make the wood wet. We used different paints in finished product (see picture)Would make a fantastic gift and is super fun to create!

This set is pretty simple . 2 colors , plain shells , glue and a small wooden box. The shells seem to be sticking pretty well . I got this for my 8 year old daughter to do. Highly recommend for the ones that love crafts !!!
