Music Box Kit

We absolutely loved crafting these music boxes, the cutest details on each piece, easy to assemble and great instructions. My kids loved making these and love playing the music! Very very cool gift!

My son loved these music boxes! He was so proud that he assembled them by himself and it gave him a great distraction from the “screens break”. I will be ordering other kits in the future!! 10 stars!!! Would definitely recommend! In addition to fast delivery and great customer service, these crafts are so easy and cool! We love them!!!

So I throw my towel in for furniture putting together, but this was just the right amount of difficult. I did this project with teens and they loved it. You can paint in first or last, and both worked out okay. They all play fu:r elise in the music box. One is wound up and the other two you crank to play. The pieces are a little bit rough but it was fine. I love this kit and it was so fun to do with my kids.

I've built alot of wooden kits and puzzles in the past, some fun experiences, some real bad ones. The first thing is even though these are relatively simple to construct, they are very enjoyable to build. The quality of the laser cutting means all you need to do is take off the little remaining nub and the pieces were ready to assemble. The kit includes three different kits, with three different music boxes. Each kit also includes glue, screws, screwdriver, and individual assbly sheet. Once completed the included brushes and paint can be used to decorate it as you'd like. Just make sure to take your time and properly allow the glue to cure for some of the more tiny joints and you can build an attractive model. The music boxes are hand crank operated so they don't wind up, but they're still nice given the price of the kits. Would make a good project for rainy days.

There are three separate kits in this box. Along with the wood cutouts, each kit has its own tools (glue, screwdriver, music box) and instructions but they share the same paint and brush set. The instructions are well written and even provide a little science fact regarding how components of the music box work. To get 3 kits at its current price ($20 at the time of this review) is a good deal.

This is one box with three complete and unique crafts for kids to build music boxes. Each craft has its own set of instructions and is individually packaged.Whether you've got one kid interested or multiple to entertain, this set can work for you! You may need to supplement with extra paint, but that's the only concern. Definitely a great value and worth your time!

Overall, for $19.95 this is a very solid building kit that comes with 3 different music boxes and 3 separate musical elements, though they all play Beethoven's Für Elise.Instructions are mostly straightforward with a bit of assumptions on where to put screws. English is 80% accurate in the directions as well. The wood is like balsa and separates easily enough from the pre-cut boards. It's pretty fun assembling them with your kids, and even though the kit provides glue and paint, you don't have to use either to complete all three music boxes.Some downsides: The music elements are off-key a bit, and I wish they offered different songs instead of the same one. Quality is also a concern as there is supposed to be a small mirror on the inside of one music box but mine had a big gash on it after I removed the protective film. A bit sad, but it's still nice.This is a great craft at the price point, what's included in the kit, and the experience! However, it just needs a bit more polish in material quality and some variety with the music element songs.

Overall this kit is a neat idea. It's fun to do in your free time and comes with 3 different boxes to make: classic music box, a rotating carousel, and a gramophone. So far I only made the gramophone but no complaints yet. The pieces are laser cut so they're easy to pop out and put together, though you'll need to use the included glue to make sure it stays together. They even included little paints if you're so inclined to customize.This is definitely a kit that would be best done with kids if you have any, a great family activity.Only things I would note is that this listing says it's a STEM kit, but it leans more towards being an art hobby kit. But arts are just as important for develop as STEM.And all three of the music boxes play Fur Elise, so make of that what you will.

This is a very complicated project with tiny pieces. The assembly definitely requires adult help. The paint it came with was dried out so we used our own. However our 8 year old loved it and was very proud. It took multiple hours for each one (comes with 3 boxes). They are not big - about 3-4 inches in length and width.
