Step-By-Step Instructions for Soap Making Kit are Included

Melt, Pour, Mold, and Play!

Activity #1: Sparkling Crystal Soap

  1. Add 4 to 6 pieces of clear soap base into the measuring cup (4 to 6 pieces are enough to make a soap).

  2. Cut a small piece of coloring tablet (the size determines the shade) with a plastic knife and pit it in the measuring cup.

  3. Heat the measuring cup in the microwave oven. Set the heating time to 20 seconds and check the soap base every 10 seconds until the base is melted into liquid. (If you don't have a microwave, you can use a water bath to melt the soap base.)

  4. Take out the measuring cup (ask an adult for help to avoid burns), add 3 to 5 drops of essential oil or a small spoon of glitter, then stir with a stir stick.

  5. Pour the liquid soap into the soap mold and wait for 30 minutes. When the soap hardens, remove from mold.

Activity #2: Colorful Soap

  1. Add 4 to 6 pieces of clear soap base into the measuring cup (4 to 6 pieces are enough to make a soap).

  6. Wait for 20 minutes, then repeat Steps 1 to 4 with white soap base and a different color tablet. Fill the remaining half of the molds and wait for 30 minutes. When the soaps hardens, remove from mold.
